This theoretical hypothesis gave birth to the concept of the paradoxical over-adaptation of children and youth to life on the streets, as conceived and developed by Olivier Douville, a clinical psychologist, psychoanalyst and anthropologist who has contributed to the work carried out by Samusocial International since 2001.
